Yes. The core journal, analytics, and playbook features are free. There is no hidden paywall or upgrade prompt.

You can use the EA sync method or import a CSV/exported report from your MetaTrader account. Setup takes under 5 minutes.

Live EA sync needs the desktop MetaTrader terminal (Windows/macOS) — the MT4/MT5 mobile apps do not support Expert Advisors, so they cannot run the sync. If you only trade on mobile, you can still keep your journal up to date by importing your account statement/CSV (export it from the MT5 web terminal in your phone browser or from desktop), or by adding trades manually. For hands-free syncing, run the EA on a Windows VPS.

You can use manual imports or API-based sync. Use a read-only investor password only if you choose to connect that way — we never ask for write access.

Yes. MT5/MT4 CSV and report exports can be imported into the journal and will populate your analytics and equity curve retroactively.

Binance and ByBit are supported in the account connection flow, with more exchanges planned.

Yes. Trades can be exported as CSV from the trades page at any time. Your data is always yours.

The web app is responsive and works well on mobile browsers. A dedicated mobile app is on the roadmap.
